The Story Behind Poseidon's Tanktastic

My passion for aquatic life started when I was just 10 years old. I took on the challenge of caring for an abandoned 55-gallon fish tank filled with tropical fish. From that moment, I knew it was my responsibility to ensure their survival, and it sparked a lifelong love for marine life.

As I grew older, my fascination deepened. I dreamt of becoming a marine biologist, exploring the depths of the ocean, and even discovering new fish species in the Challenger Deep. This passion led me to pursue a degree in Fisheries Conservation and Management with a minor in Marine Biology. Through my studies, I developed a strong interest in aquatic conservation and education.

Throughout my journey, I gained hands-on experience working with aquariums—whether through outreach programs, research labs, or my time as a pet care associate handling freshwater fish. These experiences shaped my vision: to create a business that helps others maintain beautiful, healthy aquariums while educating them about responsible fishkeeping.
